Dental Care

As of Friday, September 1, 2023, we regret that we will no longer be able to bill the British Columbia Dental Plan (BCDP) at par. This means that patients covered by BCDP - those who are 18 or older - will be required to pay the fee difference between what is billed (2024 Standard Dental Fee Guide) and what is paid (2011 BCDP Dental Fee Guide).

As a general example, the coverage is roughly 50%; therefore, if your total bill is $100.00, patients covered by BCDP should expect to pay roughly $50 depending on the service.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to our office manager, Lee, at to discuss further.

With that being said, if you have, or think you might have, coverage through your CareCard, please give us a call at 604-464-1511 and we can look into it for you. Generally speaking, individuals that are considered low income, disabled or a refugee will have coverage through the B.C. or Canadian government.

We feel compelled to advise our patients that not everything we bill is listed on this plan. In a situation where treatment is performed that is not listed on the BCDP Dental Fee Guide, patients will be required to pay the entire fee. These plans are generally very limited for what patients are and are not covered. Please call us with any questions about your coverage.
